  7. ∫ PURPOSE: By using the compression capabilities of various archiving       ∫
  8. ∫       programs, DIRARC allows the user to easily compress and          ∫
  9. ∫       decompress directories and thus increase free disk space. It     ∫
  10. ∫       also simplifies the use of such archiving programs allowing the  ∫
  11. ∫       user to create executable archives and archives which contain    ∫
  12. ∫       contain sub-directories for a given directory.                ∫

  15.   To install DIRARC, simply run INSTALL.EXE from the current directory.
  16.   It will either install DIRARC to the current drive in the \DIRARC
  17.   directory, or it will prompt you to enter a new drive and new directory
  18.   where DIRARC is to be installed.

  20.   Related documentation on operation, registration, etc., is contained
  21.   in the self-extracting file DIRARC.EXE which the install process will
  22.   extract after you have chosen a drive and directory to install to.
